  • participate in small group sessions with a skilled Career Development Professional
  • speak with representatives of a large number of community organizations
  • hear from employers about what they're looking for
  • spend two full days devoted to planning their futures

What is the cost involved?
There is no cost to the women who attend - this event is funded by Employment Ontario and is free of charge to women who are eligible (unemployed or underemployed).

Who is running this conference?

Can I just show up?
No, you have to pre-register for this event. One of our team members will speak with you over the phone to gather some information and to make sure that OPTIONS will be helpful to you. It is important for you to know that you aren't registered for OPTIONS until you have had a telephone registration interview with one of the OPTIONS team members.

Can I attend for just one of the days?
No - this is a two-day conference, and in order to fully benefit from OPTIONS, you have to be there both days. The two day session begins with "this is where I'm at now" and ends with "these are the steps I need to take to move forward" - everything from start to the end of the two days is important.
